At Radiotherapiegroep in Arnhem, five powerful GHS heat pumps with capacities of 60 kW and 100 kW have been installed. The heat pumps were professionally installed in a cascade configuration by Van Dorp.
4-pipe system
What makes this project unique is that two of the five heat pumps were installed with a 4-pipe system, allowing simultaneous heating and cooling. This is ideal when one space needs heating while another requires cooling. The pumps operate on the sustainable refrigerant R290, and the cascade configuration ensures reliable operation.
