Domestic Hot Water Configuration 2 x CD 100 water heaters paired with a 450-liter storage tank
Papendal Sports Center (Sportcentrum Papendal) is the largest elite sports training center in the Netherlands, serving as the home base for NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee * Sports Federation) among other sports organizations. Every day, more than 400 elite athletes utilize the facilities at the complex.
Technical Configuration
The domestic hot water infrastructure across the facility was completely modernized with high-efficiency direct-fired water heaters from Eco Heating Systems. Installed by mechanical contractor Van Bon Installaties (based in Heesch), the new setup consists of two CD 100 condensing boilers coupled with a 450-liter storage vessel to deliver sustainable, high-volume hot water on demand. This high-capacity thermal configuration is engineered to simultaneously supply: Over 50 showers, 20 washbasins, and A large boiling kettle alongside 5 draw-off points in the central kitchen.
