Het Meulenbelt is a well-known healthcare and eldercare facility in Almelo, situated in a scenic setting surrounded by water and greenery. Providing a comfortable, reliable indoor climate and continuous hot water is essential to maintaining the high standards of care required for its residents.
Technical Configuration
When the facility's existing plant room reached the end of its service life, high-efficiency condensing systems from Eco Heating Systems were specified to handle both space heating and domestic hot water demands.
Central Heating (CH): Space heating is supplied by a robust cascade array of three Senator 400 commercial boilers, providing substantial thermal capacity and continuous modulation to ensure resident comfort throughout the winter. Domestic Hot Water (DHW): To cover peak sanitary demand across the care facility, two CD 80 direct-fired condensing water heaters were installed alongside a 450-liter storage vessel. The entire plant was expertly installed and commissioned by Engberink Installatietechniek Almelo.
