Technical Configuration
To enhance overall comfort and energy efficiency for the Biesdel residence in Velp, both the central heating plant and the domestic hot water infrastructure were fully modernized. In close consultation with mechanical contractor Cofely Zuid Nederland BV – Regio Oost, high-efficiency systems from Eco Heating Systems were specified and installed:
Central Heating (CH): Space heating for the building complex is delivered by a cascade array of three Ambassador+ 180 commercial condensing boilers. Domestic Hot Water (DHW): Hot water demand across the residence is supplied by two CD+ 80 direct-fired water heaters coupled with a 450-liter storage buffer tank. This new heating installation reliably serves more than 65 residential apartments along with on-site amenities, including the library, shop, hair salon, pedicure room, and resident restaurant—ensuring years of consistent warmth and hot water.
Both during execution and following commissioning, Cofely Zuid Nederland BV and Eco Heating Systems reflected on a highly successful installation project. The primary priority throughout the project was to minimize disruption for residents while swiftly delivering a modern, fully operational plant.
