The Ariënhuis in Glanerbrug is a senior care facility partly housed in a historic, monumental monastery building. Through a phased construction program—involving targeted demolition of legacy structures alongside new building construction—a modern residential care center with extensive facility amenities was established.
Installed Heating Infrastructure
A brand-new heating and sanitary hot water plant was installed in the new building complex by Klein Poelhuis Installatietechniek: Central Heating (CH): Space heating is supplied by a cascade array of three Ambassador+ 100 high-efficiency commercial boilers from Eco Heating Systems. Domestic Hot Water (DHW): A dedicated CD 120 direct-fired water heater provides a reliable supply of tap water and hot shower capacity across the facility. Plant Room Integration: The primary technical plant room also incorporates a Combined Heat and Power (CHP / WKK) unit alongside the central mechanical ventilation plant serving the entire building complex.
All participating project partners look back with pride on a successful collaboration. The phased execution, extended project timeline, and required inter-party coordination were managed constructively, delivering a modern, multi-functional healthcare facility for the client.
