In a residential complex on Damsport in Groningen, two heat pumps from Eco Heating Systems have been put into operation. The heat pumps are connected to the central heating system, creating a hybrid system. The combination of the heat pump and the boiler ensures optimal energy efficiency. The heat pump handles the majority of the heating, with the boiler only activating during peak demand.
Model warmtepomp
In the residential complex, GH 34.1 model heat pumps have been installed. This model uses the natural and sustainable refrigerant propane R290. The heat pumps have an energy efficiency rating of A+ and a high COP value that can exceed 4. As a result, these heat pumps achieve very high efficiency.
