A heat pump has been installed on the roof of a nursing home in Beilen. The heat pump is connected to the existing heating system, creating a hybrid system. The heat pump handles the majority of the heating demand, while the gas-fired boilers provide additional support during peak loads or extremely cold periods.
Power capacity of the heat pump
In the nursing home, a GH 101.2 heat pump with a COP of 4.4 has been installed. This ensures high efficiency and makes the heat pump very sustainable. The installation was carried out by Velgsib Installatietechniek BV from Stadskanaal.
